About Me

        I am a mama to 8 kids (1 girl, 6 boys, and 1 miscarried baby in Heaven). Of all of my pregnancies, I only had one birthing experience turn out the way i imagined!

         As a first time mom, I went to the hospital far too often thinking i was in labor, until the L&D team finally kept me and intervened with an Amniotomy and Pitocin.

         When my second pregnancy ended with me at the hospital at 9 cm dilated and my baby being born within the hour, I knew this is how labor and delivery was meant to be, and wanted to recreate that with each subsequent pregnancy.

          Unfortunately, I was never able to attain that ideal again. So, instead of continuing to try for a perfect delivery, I decided to turn my passion towards giving a voice to other mamas.
